Aside from that, I've been busy with the 9-5 job and that kind of thing.
I def. miss the time in my life when summers were completely open to doing anything and everything. I totally took it for granted when I was a kid, opting to sit inside and watch Supermarket Sweep and read Goosebump books instead of swimming and laying out in the sun. Ahhh... being trapped in an office all day is no fun, but especially on beautiful summer days.

Aside from that, Warped Tour 2008 was a blast, even if I had been there for 8 hours and missed not only The Horrorpops but Cobra Starship as well. This was my 7th Warped and one of the best, each year is better than the previous for sure and this was no exception - I even had the luck of getting to personally thank Kevin Lyman when I saw him in the crowd before Jack's Mannequin's set.

Working in Springfield, MO at a legit job that I daily feel conflicted about. (It's good pay, in my career field, I'm my own art director and hella job security) but it's in BFE Southwest Missouri and I miss my bright lights big city life.

You can't stick a sister from the CITY of St. Louis and expect her to survive amongst the local yokels. F'reals.

I drove it out to Las Vegas a week ago to be in a commercial, no lie. I've had the thing exactly 3 months. Got back yesterday. Let's talk about weird - getting delirious while singing to Head Automatica's Decadence while doing 85+ MPH on Arizona highways in the middle of the nite only to pull off and sleep in the car for a few hours on a grocery store parking lot. Weird times.

A year ago I saw Morrissey in St. Louis and it pretty much made my life.

On Saturday I graduated from college and now have a Bachelor's of Fine Art in Graphic Design in my posession, so BOO and YAH to all tha haterz. I be educated now, bb!

I'm pretty into the Buzznet thing, inititally I didn't think I'd use it for anything other than lurking, but anyway.

I'm working on tagging all zillion gajillion of my concert photos because I enjoy getting feedback on them and it's always nice to get more exposure on my work. It's slow going but keep watching for even more rad upclose shots of your favorite bands.

What am I up to? Suffering the boredom of the 9-5 life of work (I'm a designer for the univ. bookstore), now that my Statistics class is over (the last of my gen ed reqs! because yes, art kids need practical skills like how to decided if something is statistically significant or not. *cough*mizzousucksmymoneyonclassesidontneed*cough*). I'm up to my eyeballs in Harry Potter-related design work; newspaper ads, posters, signs, etc for the release party and let me tell you, I'm to the point that the next time I see or hear the name Harry Potter someone's gonna get hurt. And I used to be an HP superfan :'(

Anyway, hope you're all enjoying the heat and humitity of your current location. I, for one, and ready for autumn.

i'll be at the st. louis date of warped, shooting for ap magazine. will you be there? if so, that's rad. we'll be sweating our asses off together in that swampland they used to call riverport, then umb bank pavillion, and now it's verizon wireless amphitheater or something like that... but anyway. middle of august in st. louis just spells s-w-e-a-t, you're so pumped now aren't you? haha.
